Over the past few months, we’ve been in discussions with the Honeydew Community Police Forum – CPF about supporting some much-needed upgrades at the Honeydew SAPS.
After several visits to the station, it became clear that one of the area’s most in need of improvement was the seating in the Customer Service Centre, where many residents wait to report cases or seek assistance.
Recognizing the impact this has on our own community, the Panorama Residents Association decided to get involved.
We have replaced the old, worn-out seating in the waiting area with three new, durable benches, providing space for up to nine people. In addition, we’ve purchased 10 single chairs to be used by residents while filing complaints or receiving assistance at the desks.
This contribution is not only a gesture of support to our fellow residents but also to the dedicated officers at Honeydew SAPS who work in this space every day.
