Today we saw a team of workers from the Panorama Residents Association Weltevredenpark, AK Landscaping and Tree felling ZA tackle JG Strydom to start a skoffeling project.
This project was sponsored by members of the Residents Association. Our main aim is to attend to the skoffeling and cleaning of all the gutters next to the road before the rainy season starts.
The cleanup was agreed to after a meeting with Johannesburg Roads Agency where they committed to bring a team as well on Monday to collect all the grass and sand that was removed from the road.
Area covered on the first day was JG Strydom between 9th Ave and Sprinhaas Road. This was only the beginning and we are looking at a total cleanup of JG Strydom all the way to Jim Fouche over the next few weeks.
